PeerPuzzle Set

Divide students into four teams and give each group a set of pentomino blocks. A player from each team runs to review the structure on a student card on the opposite side of the play area, but they cannot take the card with them. Instead, they need to memorize the card, run back to their team, and describe how to place the 3D foam shapes to create the design on the card. The player relaying the message cannot touch the blocks, they can only communicate with teammates about block placement. The player can run back and forth between their team and the card as many times as needed to ensure the build is correct. The teacher uses their cards to review the build. If it's correct, the team moves on to the next card. If not, the team continues to make adjustments to match their card. The first team to complete 4 cards, wins!

This pentominoes game is dependent on strong communication skills and speed. It combines STEM elements with activity, making a great learning game for PE classes. Pentomino blocks are made of durable polyurethane foam and range from 12" to 30"L.
