Durable steel-framed net systems feature easy setup and superior net tension.

Quickly set up and take down nets without cutting into valuable class time with our premium portable net system! Great for any net sport, this durable option breaks down into portable segments with ease.

Build Less, Play More

In just minutes, these ultra-portable nets go from individual components to full-sized nets, and just as quickly disassemble for storage and transport in an included nylon bag. Individually labeled pipes link to form the frame, while the net’s banded sleeves seamlessly slide into place to complete construction. Rapid setup and take down pave the way for more time spent playing, with the collapsed components taking up only 35-1/2"L of space in your storage closet!

Play Any Net Sport

Designed with a range of sports in mind, these nets accommodate the needs of your class and curriculum. Position the net at full height for volleyball or badminton, and drop it down low in seconds for pickle ball or tennis. The net easily slides along the pipes and secures via hook-and-loop fasteners so it won't budge during the game! Two size options are available:

  • UltraNet, 20’W x 61"H, 25 lb
  • UltraNet Jr, 14’W x 61"H, 19 lb

Durable Construction

Powder-coated steel pipes withstand years of institutional use. Say goodbye to sagging nets thanks to an easy-to-use strap that provides instant adjustments and security, without compromising the tautness of the net itself.

Game Rules, Variations, and Additional Uses

The UltraNet Portable Net System is perfect for quickly setting up badminton and pickleball games in PE classes. Below are instructions for both sports and additional ways to use UltraNets in physical education beyond traditional gameplay.

Badminton Game Rules and Instructions

Badminton is a fast-paced racquet sport played with a shuttlecock and net. The UltraNet Portable Net System is perfect for setting up quickly to enjoy this dynamic game.

How to Play:

1. Setup: Set the UltraNet to 61" high.

2. Teams: Play singles (1v1) or doubles (2v2).

3. Serve: The server stands in the right service court and hits the shuttlecock diagonally into the opponent’s service area.

4. Scoring: Games are played to 21 points. A point is scored on every rally. Players must win by at least 2 points.

5. Faults: Points are lost if the shuttlecock lands out, touches the net, or the player fails to return it.

6. Switching Sides: Teams switch sides after every game.

Fun Gameplay Variations:

1. Target Smash: Place targets on the court and award points for hitting specific targets with a smash.

2. Double Racket: Players hold two rackets and must return the shuttlecock using either hand.

3. Alternate Shots: Partners play doubles, but must alternate which partner hits the shot.

4. Backhand Only: Players can only hit the shuttlecock using backhand strokes, challenging their weaker hand.

5. Timed Match: Instead of playing to 21 points, set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes and see who can score the most points in that time.

Pickleball Game Rules and Instructions

Pickleball is a fun, paddle-based game that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. The UltraNet can be easily adjusted to accommodate this game.

How to Play:

1. Setup: Lower the UltraNet to about 36" high.

2. Teams: Play singles or doubles.

3. Serve: The server hits the ball underhand diagonally across the court. Only one serve attempt is allowed.

4. Scoring: Points are only awarded to the serving team. Games go to 11 points, and teams must win by 2.

5. Double Bounce Rule: The ball must bounce once on each side before players can hit it in the air.

6. Non-Volley Zone: Players cannot volley (hit the ball before it bounces) while standing in the 7-foot zone near the net.

Gameplay Variations:

1. No-Volley Pickleball: Play where every shot must bounce, eliminating volleying.

2. Team Relay: After every rally, a new player enters from the sidelines to replace one teammate.

3. Bounce-Only Scoring: Only points won by shots that bounce twice on the opponent’s side count.

4. Target Pickleball: Set up cones or targets on the court to aim for during rallies.

5. Timed Pickleball: Instead of playing to 11, play a 5-minute match and see who scores the most points.

Other Uses for UltraNet Portable Net Systems

The UltraNet Portable Net System can be used for much more than just traditional net games. Here are other creative uses to enhance physical education activities:

1. Target Throwing: Attach small targets to the net and have students practice throwing softballs or bean bags to hit specific spots.

2. Frisbee Toss: Use the net as a barrier for students to throw frisbees over, working on their aim and distance control.

3. Net Wall Challenge: Use the net as a barrier for passing or throwing games where students have to aim over or through designated sections of the net.

4. Balloon Tennis: Inflate balloons and let students hit them back and forth over the lowered net using their hands or paddles.

5. Volleyball Skills Practice: Have students practice volleyball bumps and sets, trying to keep the ball in the air above the net as long as possible.
