SST Scooter Boards

A scooter board engineered for lasting performance—with speed and safety in mind!
You must choose an option from above before adding to your cart.

Our top-performing SST Scooter is Speedier, Safer, and Tougher than all others!

Speedier & Safer!

High-quality casters and ball bearings make this our fastest scooter! The seating area is specifically designed to create more leg room and less board interference for students. As a result, they are able to propel themselves forward or backward faster. Even with a 28% larger seating area than others, SST is still faster than others!

Choose from 3 wheel options:

  • Indoor/Outdoor 4" dia urethane inline skate wheels provide the smoothest glide.
  • Indoor/Outdoor 3" dia urethane inline skate wheels glide smoothly over any surface.
  • Indoor 2-1/2" dia thermoplastic wheels non-marring rubber wheels roll easy on gym floors.

Two encased handles prevent pinched fingers during fast rides and also provide riders with a secure grip so they stay safer.

Tougher!

A lightweight reinforced ABS-plastic deck makes SST stronger than many other scooter boards on the market. ABS is strong yet flexible, allowing it to absorb impact and not crack. Each scooter is 20-1/2”L x 16”W and supports up to 450 lb.

15 Exciting Activities Using SST Scooter Boards

The SST Scooter Boards are perfect for a wide variety of PE activities that encourage movement, teamwork, and fun. Their speed, safety, and durability make them ideal for games that challenge students to race, maneuver, and work together.

1. Scooter Relay Races: Divide students into teams. Each student must propel themselves on the scooter board from one end of the gym to the other and tag the next teammate. The first team to finish wins.

2. Scooter Obstacle Course: Set up a course using cones and other obstacles. Students must navigate the course while seated on the SST Scooter Board, either forward or backward.

3. Scooter Soccer: Divide students into teams. Players sit on the scooter boards and use their feet to pass and kick a ball into goals on either side of the gym.

4. Scooter Basketball: Students sit on the scooter boards and attempt to dribble and shoot a basketball into a low-set hoop. The challenge is to move, dribble, and shoot while on the board!

5. Tug-of-War Scooters: Two students sit on SST Scooter Boards while holding a rope. They pull against each other to see who can drag the other across a designated line.

6. Scooter Tag: One or two students are "it" and must tag other students while everyone rides around on scooter boards. Tagged students join the taggers until all are caught.

7. Scooter Capture the Flag: Play a classic game of Capture the Flag, but with the added challenge of everyone riding on scooter boards. Teams must work together to move swiftly while protecting their flag.

8. Scooter Bowling: Set up plastic pins and have students take turns propelling themselves on the scooter boards, trying to knock over as many pins as possible.

9. Scooter Red Light, Green Light: Students move across the gym on scooter boards, but must stop immediately when "red light" is called out. If they don’t stop, they must go back to the start.

10. Scooter Hockey: Students sit on the boards and use short hockey sticks to pass and shoot a ball or puck toward a goal, combining speed and precision.

11. Scooter Figure Eights: Set up two cones in the gym, and students must navigate in figure eights around the cones on their scooter boards, practicing control and speed.

12. Scooter Pac-Man: One student is "Pac-Man," and the others are "ghosts." The ghosts chase the Pac-Man around the gym, trying to tag them, all while on scooter boards.

13. Scooter Football: Students ride on scooter boards and play a game of flag football, propelling themselves around the gym while trying to score touchdowns.

14. Scooter Maze Challenge: Create a maze using cones, and students must navigate the course on their scooter boards as quickly as possible without knocking over any cones.

15. Scooter Relay Grab-and-Go: Place small objects (bean bags, cones, etc.) along a course. As students ride their scooter boards, they must grab as many objects as possible before reaching the finish line.
