Built for Durability

Step or run over these cones and they will return to their original shape, thanks to their unique spring back construction. Their 100% vinyl design ensures greater longevity over other plastic varieties. The bright colors are protected by UV-inhibitors, which guard against fading for long-lasting vibrance for use in any weather conditions.

Outstanding Versatility

Five sizes provide you with nearly unlimited options for use. The variety of colors makes it easy for teachers and coaches to organize classes and practices according the color. Rainbow Set includes 1 of each Rainbow color.

Creative Movement Activities with Rainbow® Vinyl Cone Sets

These activities are designed to maximize the bright, durable, and versatile features of the Rainbow® Vinyl Cone Sets. Each activity helps students improve their fundamental movement skills such as agility, coordination, balance, and speed, while the cones' resilience and vibrant colors bring fun and energy to every drill.

1. Cone Color Dash: Scatter the 6" cones across the gym in rainbow colors. Call out a color, and students must sprint to touch as many cones of that color as possible within a time limit. This activity improves running speed, agility, and color recognition, using the durable cones that spring back after every step.

2. Tall Tower Dodge: Set up 28" and 36" cones in an Invasion Game arena as obstacles. Students must dodge balls while weaving between the tall cones.

3. Rainbow Relay Race: Line up different cone sizes (6", 12", 18", 28", 36") in rainbow colors, each representing a checkpoint. Students must weave through the cones, touching each in sequence before sprinting back to tag the next teammate. This relay encourages running, agility, and coordination, with the durability of the cones preventing wear and tear.

4. Cone Hop Challenge: Place 12" cones in a straight line. Students must jump over each cone without knocking them down, focusing on jumping and landing skills. The UV-resistant cones remain vibrant, and their spring-back construction allows students to accidentally step on them without causing damage.

5. Giant Cone Hide and Seek: Scatter 28" and 36" cones across the gym. Students hide small objects under the cones, and their peers must find the hidden items by lifting the cones. This activity combines locomotor skills with observation, while the larger cones' durability ensures they stand up to constant lifting and placing.

7. Cone Soccer Shootout: Use 36" cones as goalposts for a soccer shootout. Students must dribble around the smaller 12" cones and shoot between the tall cones for a goal. The cones’ durability makes them ideal for outdoor games, as they spring back when hit by soccer balls without losing shape.

8. Cone Shadow Tag: Arrange 18" cones in a large area. Students must move from cone to cone without getting tagged by the "shadow" (tagger). This activity helps develop quick reflexes and spatial awareness.

9. Cone Color Hunt: Place different-sized cones (6", 12", 18") in various locations around the gym. Students are given a color and must find cones of that color and collect them in order. This scavenger hunt game builds agility and spatial awareness, utilizing the bright, fade-resistant colors of the cones for easy visibility.

10. Slalom Sprint: Set up a slalom course using 28" and 36" cones. Students must sprint and weave through the tall cones as fast as possible without knocking them over. This game improves agility and speed, while the cones' large size makes it more difficult for students to maneuver around.

11. Cone Capture the Flag: Divide students into teams, each with their own color-coded set of 18" cones placed around the playing area. The objective is to steal the opposing team’s cones while protecting your own. Use ClickPro Flag Belts to help facilitate the game. The vibrant colors and durability of the cones add excitement and longevity to this classic game.

12. Cone Color Explosion: Arrange 6" cones in different colors in a wide circle. Students start in the center, and when a color is called, they must sprint to the corresponding cone and return.

13. Towering Obstacle Crawl: Set up alternating 12" and 36" cones, and have students crawl under the taller cones and leap over the shorter ones. The flexibility of the vinyl cones ensures safety, while the activity promotes body control, flexibility, and spatial awareness.

14. Color Cone Corner Kicks: Set up different-colored cones in the corners of the field. Students must kick a ball from one corner to another, aiming to knock over the cones from a distance. The colors on UV-resistant cones stay vibrant throughout years of use, and their spring-back feature makes them perfect for repeat kicks.
