Mini-Net and Maxi-Net options are light enough to pick up and set down quickly, while the Roll-A-Net option offers 5 swivel casters that ensure swift and smooth transport. Choose the size and weight that is most convenient for you and your class!

  • Mini-Net, 10’W x 52”H; 15 lb
  • Maxi-Net, 18’W x 52”H; 21 lb
  • Roll-A-Net, 18’W x 52”H; 52 lb

Tailored Play

Made with a variety of games in mind, you can quickly go from high to low net positions with a simple net adjustment and removal of 2 extension poles. Nets reach 52”H for badminton and volleyball and quickly shrink to floor level for tennis and pickle ball. The Mini-Net is ideal for more confined spaces and younger students, while Maxi-Net and Roll-A-Net options give students a full-sized game play experience.

Durable Construction

Strong, oval-shaped posts offer exceptional durability to QuickStart Portable Net Systems, enduring the constant wear and tear that comes with picking them up, setting them down, and changing net heights. Tension adjustments on the net itself keep it taut to mitigate the strain of sagging. These nets are an economical option, designed to withstand heavy institutional play.

Activity Ideas Using QuickStart™ Portable Net Systems

The QuickStart™ Portable Net System is a versatile and easy-to-set-up net system designed for a variety of sports and activities. It can be quickly adjusted to different heights, making it perfect for tennis, badminton, volleyball, and other net-based games.

These activity ideas leverage the portability and adaptability of the system, including the Mini-Net, Maxi-Net, and Roll-A-Net, to teach fundamental movement skills such as agility, coordination, balance, and manipulative skills like striking and catching.

Pickleball Activities:

1. QuickServe Showdown: Using foam balls and the QuickStart Net, students will work on their throwing accuracy by trying to toss the ball over the net into specific target areas on the opposite side. This activity helps develop throwing and aiming skills.

2. QuickStart™ Tennis Tactics: Set up the Roll-A-Net for tennis or pickleball and have students practice forehand and backhand strokes using low-compression tennis balls. With its 5 swivel casters, the Roll-A-Net can be smoothly transported across the gym or field, making it easy for teachers to quickly set up and rearrange activities during class.

3. Pickleball King of the Court: Divide students into small teams and rotate them through multiple courts. The winning team from each mini-game moves up to the next court, while the losing team moves down. The objective is to become the "King of the Court" by winning on the highest court, building competitive spirit and tactical play.

4. Serve and Return Relay: Students take turns serving and returning pickleballs over the QuickStart. The objective is to complete a cycle of successful serves and returns without errors, building accuracy and consistency.

5. Dink Shot Challenge: Set the QuickStart at pickleball height and mark target zones near the net. Players work on "dink shots" by gently tapping the ball into the target zones, aiming for precision and control.

6. Pickleball Serve Accuracy Drill: Students practice serving the pickleball into specific zones on the opposite side of the QuickStart. Each accurate serve into the target zone earns a point for their team.

Badminton Activities:

7. Badminton Balance Challenge: Students will use badminton racquets and shuttlecocks to rally over the QuickStart Net. Points are awarded for each successful rally, and students work on coordination, striking, and balance.

8. Target Smash: Place target zones on the floor on both sides of the QuickStart. Students must aim their smashes toward the target areas, practicing precision and control. Rotate teams every 2 minutes to keep the class engaged.

9. Backhand Mastery: Set up different zones and require students to only use backhand shots to send the shuttlecock over the QuickStart. This drill focuses on improving backhand techniques while building hand-eye coordination.

10. Multi-Net Badminton Tournament: Set up several QuickStart and organize the class into small teams for a round-robin badminton tournament. Players rotate through courts, emphasizing competitive play, strategy, and quick transitions between games.

11. Overhead Clear Competition: Students compete to hit the highest and longest overhead clears over the QuickStart. Partners challenge each other to consistently clear the net with accuracy.

Volleyball Activities:

12. Volley Jump Smash: Set the QuickStart Net at its highest setting for volleyball-style play. Students will practice their jumping and coordination by attempting to "smash" a lightweight ball over the net using a volleyball technique. This activity emphasizes jumping and striking.

13. Volleyball Mini-Match: Divide the class into small teams for 3v3 volleyball matches using the QuickStart at full height. Players rotate after each point, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to pass, set, and spike.

14. Quick Reaction Volleyball: Players position themselves in small groups near the QuickStart and react to balls tossed over the net by a coach. They must pass the ball quickly back over the net, focusing on quick reflexes and team communication.

Other Fun Activities

15. NitroBall: Set up the QuickStart at a low height for a high-energy game of NitroBall, a unique volleyball variation. Players must serve and hit the NitroBall with a downward motion, ensuring it bounces off the ground before crossing the net. Teams of 2-3 players can use up to three hits to pass the ball, working together to keep the ball in play while strategizing their next move. Rally scoring is used, and the first team to reach 21 points wins.

16. Frisbee Accuracy Toss: Place the QuickStart in the middle of the field and mark targets on both sides. Students must toss frisbees over the net, aiming to hit the targets. This game works on frisbee throwing accuracy and decision-making.
