Experience the outdoors while learning about nature through an activity-driven curriculum!

Introduce students to the outdoors with engaging lessons that take class outside! The digital outdoor education curriculum includes lessons for future anglers, hunters, and boaters. There are also lessons about orienteering, camping, backpacking, rock climbing, paddle sports, and CPR/first aid. Each unit starts off with information about jobs and career opportunities in given fields, outlines STEM considerations, and provides cross-curricular and community service suggestions. Individual lessons feature a writing prompt, inclusive strategies, assessments, physical activities, distance learning component, and slides for each lesson.

The K-12 curriculum consists of 40 units with over 360 lessons, serving as part of a daily lesson plan for the entire year. All are standards bases and curriculum aligned. Teach them as part of your standard PE course or create an engaging elective course. A website with teacher resources and a monthly newsletter provide additional outdoor opportunities. The digital curriculum is housed in the Canvas platform for easy access and includes access to future updates, and additional units. License agreement is for the entire school, for the life of the school. It will include updates and upgrades including a rewrite every 3 years to ensure material is up to date. Also included is a voucher for an equipment package through the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation (OTF). An OTF representative will contact you and assist in equipment redemption. The equipment package helps instructors implement focused units.
