OMNIKIN SIX Balls

Lightweight and easy to throw or catch, these smaller OMNIKIN balls encourage participation in a variety of cooperative team drills, relay games, and other activities. Bright colors keep excitement high, while superior construction extends play in institutional settings.
Encourages Teamwork
The size of these balls makes them perfect for tossing, catching, and rolling games for teams. Custom OMNIKIN ball games also encourage full-class participation and team building. At 18" dia size and only 11 oz, this is our lightest OMNIKIN ball and an excellent option for beginners.
Great Durability
A 100% nylon cover with doubled nylon seams resists wear and tear of regular institutional use. The waterproof cover allows for activities in the gym or outdoor on the field. Each ball features an airtight flat valve for easy inflation, 2 standard latex bladders, and a nylon cover.
Sets include 6 balls (one of each color) and 12 bladders. Standard bladders with large-mouth openings are easy to inflate and tie off. Replacement bladders sold separately.
Engaging Activities with OMNIKIN® SIX Balls
Using the Omnikin® Six Balls, students will engage in various team-oriented activities to develop essential movement skills like locomotion, manipulation, body control, and coordination. These activities challenge balance, agility, and cooperation, making learning both active and fun.
1. Hoop Hustle: Students hold hula hoops as makeshift basketball hoops at each end of the court. Teams work together to dribble, pass, and shoot the ball into their moving "hoop" targets. This fast-paced game emphasizes coordination, passing accuracy, and teamwork!
2. Pass the Rainbow: Students line up in teams and pass the OMNIKIN® SIX Ball overhead, focusing on teamwork to move the ball from one end of the line to the other as fast as possible.
3. Circle of Colors: In a large circle, students must continuously tap the OMNIKIN® SIX Balls to keep them in the air while rotating around the circle. This game enhances hand-eye coordination and teamwork.
4. Parachute Popcorn: Place one or more OMNIKIN® Six Balls on top of a large parachute. Students work together to shake the parachute and pop the balls into the air. The goal is to keep the balls bouncing while preventing them from falling off the parachute. This game builds cooperation and upper body strength.
5. Six Ball Soccer: Students play soccer with the OMNIKIN® SIX Balls, using their feet to dribble and score goals. This oversized version of soccer emphasizes kicking, coordination, and teamwork.
6. Six Ball Handball: Divide the class into two teams. Using the OMNIKIN® Six Balls, students must pass the ball between teammates and try to score by throwing the ball into a goal. The large size and lightweight nature of the ball make passing and catching challenging, developing hand-eye coordination and teamwork.
7. Rainbow Bowling: Set up a bowling game where students roll the OMNIKIN® SIX Balls to knock over cones or pins. This game focuses on rolling and hand-eye coordination.
8. Giant Balloon Volleyball: Use a net and have teams play volleyball with the OMNIKIN® SIX Balls, striking the balls with their hands to keep them in the air and pass over the net. This develops striking, coordination, and teamwork.
9. Mega Keep-Away: Teams must keep the OMNIKIN® Six Ball away from the opposing team by passing it using hands, feet, or heads. The team with the ball for the longest time wins! This game promotes teamwork, passing, and agility.
10. Parachute Pass: Students form a circle, holding the edges of the parachute. The OMNIKIN® Six Ball is placed in the center, and students must work together to roll the ball around the parachute’s perimeter by lifting and lowering different sections. This game develops teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and communication.
11. Hoop Defense Duel: Assign one player from each team to act as a ""goalie"", guarding their team's colored hoop. The goalies cannot leave their hoop, forcing teams to strategize how to pass around the defense. Teams must complete three passes before scoring by shooting the ball into the hoop. The first team to score on the other teams, wins!
12. Rainbow Handball Challenge: Set up 6 different goals in the gym, each with a matching OMNIKIN® Six Ball. Teams must pass and throw their ball into all six goals as quickly as possible, scoring points for each successful goal. This game emphasizes throwing, passing accuracy, and teamwork.
13. Air Time Volleyball: Challenge students to keep the OMNIKIN® Six Ball in the air as long as possible by hitting it over the volleyball net. Teams work on passing and striking skills while focusing on timing and cooperation.
14. Cone Crusher: Set up cones around the gym, and teams take turns throwing or kicking their OMNIKIN® Six Ball to knock down as many cones as possible. This game emphasizes throwing accuracy and teamwork.
15. Giant Pong Challenge: Set up giant buckets or laundry baskets as targets. Teams take turns throwing or kicking the OMNIKIN® Six Ball into the targets, aiming to score as many points as possible. This game enhances throwing accuracy and teamwork.
