15 FMS Activities Using Gopher Bumper Plate Sets

The Gopher Bumper Plate Sets are crafted for durability, safety, and performance, making them ideal for school strength programs. These plates are made of high-quality rubber with solid steel inserts, ensuring they can withstand repeated drops while minimizing bounce. With standardized diameters across all weights, they’re perfect for teaching proper lifting technique and building confidence in strength-based movements. While designed for Olympic-style lifting, these bumper plates can also be used in imaginative ways to teach a wide range of Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) like pushing, pulling, lifting, rolling, balancing, and coordination. The following 15 activities creatively integrate bumper plates into physical education for learners of all ages.
