Converting fan-shaped or smaller glass backboards to a regulation rectangle backboard has never been easier! Easy to mount and designed to last, it offers all the benefits of a full-size, league-approved backboard without buying a brand-new system.

Easily Convert Your Existing Backboard for Official Competition

Transform existing basketball systems in schools or athletic facilities into regulation-ready courts with this rectangular backboard. Built to meet NFHS and NCAA specifications, it provides the size and performance required for official high school and collegiate play quickly.

Pre-Drilled Design for Easy Install

Designed to fit the existing install of front-mount boards, it features 20" vertical and 35" horizontal keyhole slots for a quick and seamless upgrade. Simply remove your current backboard, keep the mounting hardware in place, and add this one!

A 5"W x 4"H hole pattern is included for quick installation of your front-mount rim. Rims are sold separately.

The steel frame is also pre-drilled to accept bolt-on backboard padding, making it easy to add compatible padding for safety. Backboard padding is sold separately.

Durable Steel Frame, Lasting Construction

Gared Conversion will be a lasting addition to your gym, thanks to its fired-in steel frame. It withstands over 1,100 lb of direct force, compared to 700 lb of force on aluminum frames. A white border and shooter square are also fired in to prevent fading or wear over time, giving players a clear mark to shoot for every time.

Tempered Glass for Safety, Consistent Performance

The 1/2" thick tempered glass delivers the consistent rebound performance players expect during practices and games. Up to 5x stronger than standard glass, it has no problem withstanding repeated use in school and recreational facilities, providing safer, dependable performance on high-use basketball courts.

Shock-Absorbing Design Protects Backboard

A vinyl shock-absorbing gasket and acrylic cushioning pad between the mounting plate and glass help reduce stress caused by play. This protective design helps absorb impact, supporting long-term backboard performance and durability.

Components & Accessories Sold Separately

Complete your basketball system with compatible hardware and accessories sold separately. This backboard accepts front-mount goals, and optional backboard padding is available to help complete installation. Hardware, goal, net, and padding are not included.
