Flip'T Tire Trainers
Unlike a classic tractor tire that is dirty, can be used only outdoors, and can cause injury, Flip'T offers a better functional training option for students in an indoor setting. Industrial-grade foam and a vinyl cover allow for clean, safe CrossFit and tire training in the comfort of a gym without damaging floors.
Unrivaled Safety
A patented design features an octagonal shape that is ideal for students learning to properly maneuver and control weight. The no-roll design allows users to flip it end over end, so only half the weight is lifted. Twelve nylon handles, 8 on the sides and 4 on the top, assist in flipping and moving the trainer. Reinforced, double stitching ensures handles won't loosen after routine use.
Top-Notch Construction
The very dense, high-quality foam will not break down over time, even with vigorous flipping and slamming. It’s also heavy enough to give the tire trainer enough weight to challenge students, yet light enough that it won’t injure fingers and feet if dropped on them. Durable 16 oz vinyl cover helps maintain the foam’s integrity by preventing contact with moisture, dirt, sharp objects, and other equipment. The cover also easily wipes clean when training is done, which isn’t necessarily a worry, thanks to the antimicrobial properties in the vinyl that protect product against the presence of bacteria.
Superior Versatility
Mastered the art of tire flipping? The versatile Flip’T can also be used as a plyo box to improve power and agility. Or, step into the open center, grab the top handles, and use it for a farmer’s walk to strengthen forearms.
Large printed weight identifiers on each side are easily seen from across the gym and list pounds and kilograms. Cover color also assists in identifying weight.

15 Strength and Skill-Building PE Activities Using Flip'T Tire Trainers
The Flip'T Tire Trainers offer the benefits of traditional tire flipping without the mess, risk, or space demands of actual tires. Unlike heavy truck tires, these trainers have a specially designed interior with reinforced grips and a balanced weight distribution that makes flipping safer and more manageable for students. Their flat surface prevents rolling, and they’re available in multiple weight levels to suit a range of student abilities. Perfect for full-body strength training, coordination, and explosive movements, these tire trainers can be integrated into dozens of engaging PE activities that teach foundational movement skills.
1. Flip'T Leap & Land: Students flip the tire, leap over it once it lands, and hold a balance pose for 3 seconds. Emphasizes leaping, landing, and stability.
2. Push and Pop Power Walk: Students push the tire in a straight line, flip it, and sprint back. Enhances pushing force, sprinting, and muscular coordination.
3. Tire Tower Team Relay: In teams, students flip the tire a designated number of times before tagging the next teammate. Teaches teamwork, flipping technique, and body control.
4. Flip'T & Balance Freeze: After each tire flip, students must balance on one foot for 5 seconds. Combines explosive movement with static balance control.
5. Pull & Flip Frenzy: Use the integrated handles to pull the tire across a short distance, then flip it. Develops pulling, body control, and grip strength.
6. Flip'T Dodge Drop: One student flips the tire, while others try to run around it without getting tagged by its path. Encourages dodging and spatial judgment.
7. Hurdle & Heave Hustle: Place a low hurdle after the tire. Students flip the tire, then hop over the hurdle and repeat. Combines flipping, hopping, and rhythm.
8. Down-the-Line Drag & Flip: Students drag the tire sideways down a line, then flip it at the end. Focuses on lateral movement and dragging strength.
9. Obstacle Over Under Flip: Set up cones and hurdles. Students flip the tire, then go over or under an obstacle. Enhances coordination and planning.
10. Partner Pull & Pass: In pairs, one student flips the tire, the other pulls it back to the start using handles. Then they switch. Builds teamwork, pulling, and flipping strength.
11. Tire Toss Twist Race: Students twist and toss a beanbag into the flipped tire, race to collect it, flip the tire, and repeat. Encourages agility and upper-body coordination.
12. Tire Tag Transit: “It” flips the tire toward others running between two zones. If the tire crosses your path, you're out. Enhances reaction time, dodging, and observation.
13. Flip'T Balance Bridge: Students balance with one foot on the flipped tire and one on the floor, holding a pose. Builds core strength and static balance.
14. Flip ‘n Fetch Frenzy: Students flip the tire to a cone, run back to collect an object, then carry it inside the tire. Develops spatial planning and manipulation.
15. Tire Trail Teamwork: In groups, students work together to flip a tire across the gym using verbal coordination only (no touching except flipping). Enhances communication and cooperation.
