ClipPro Flag Belt System

Our textured alligator flag-belt clip is the most secure on the market!
You must choose an option from above before adding to your cart.

Give your students a secure, easy-to-use belt-release system that stays put during play and releases exactly when it should. An innovative alligator-grip buckle with tough, interlocking teeth prevents accidental drops, helping teachers and coaches maintain consistent, smooth, organized game play. Built for daily use and trusted by schools, this system delivers clear, reliable flag pulls every time.

Secure, Spring-Loaded Buckle for Reliable Play

This belt-release system uses a spring-loaded, alligator-grip buckle designed to hold strong through quick cuts and fast breaks. The tough, interlocking teeth keep belts secure during activity, yet release instantly when a 17"L vinyl flag is pulled.

The entire belt detaches for unmistakable tackle identification, reducing confusion and supporting fair, efficient game management in physical education and recreation settings.

Comfortable and Durable for Years of Use

A 1”W nylon belt includes an adjustment for a custom fit. This ensures the belt sits properly on every student’s waist, keeping the focus on playing instead of how equipment is fitting. Nylon webbing is designed to last, season after season.

Each flag is constructed from durable coated vinyl that stands up to repeated use in PE classes, after-school programs, and recreation leagues. Every flag is triple-stitched to the belt so it stays firmly attached, eliminating lost flags.

15 Engaging PE Activities Using the ClipPro Flag Belt System

The ClipPro Flag Belt System features a heavy-duty clip mechanism that securely holds flags in place until they are intentionally pulled by another player. Unlike Velcro or magnetic belts, ClipPro belts use a clip-and-release system that’s highly durable, ideal for intense gameplay, and provides a satisfying “pop” when the flag is pulled—giving students clear feedback and making gameplay more immersive. The belts come in multiple bright colors for easy team differentiation, making them perfect for a wide variety of fundamental movement skill (FMS) activities across all grade levels. Below are 15 inventive and skill-based games that leverage the strengths of the ClipPro Flag Belt System to help students move, play, and grow.

1. Clip ‘n’ Sprint: Students wear 2 flags and sprint across the gym while defenders try to pull them. Once both are pulled, players must perform 5 jumping jacks to rejoin. Teaches running, dodging, and recovery.

2. Pop & Freeze Tag: When a player’s flag is clipped off, they must freeze in place. They return to play when a teammate performs a set movement (e.g., 5 squats) near them. Builds agility, stopping, and teamwork.

3. Flag Football Formation Fun: Students practice offensive and defensive drills with quick flag pulls replacing tackles. Reinforces striking-free contact play and game understanding.

4. Partner Flag Duel: In pairs, students face off and try to pull each other’s flags without moving their feet. Emphasizes twisting, reaction time, and upper-body control.

5. Obstacle Overrun: Students navigate a cone or hoop obstacle course while defenders attempt to clip off their flags. Builds agility, pathfinding, and dodging.

6. Capture the Clip: Students must sneak into enemy territory to grab beanbags and return them while keeping their flags intact. Teaches strategy, team play, and speed control.

7. Cone Zone Flag Drop: Players must run from cone to cone and drop a flag in each before sprinting to the finish. Develops running endurance, planning, and manual dexterity.

8. Color Belt Conquerors: Divide players into colored teams. Each team defends a zone and tries to pull as many opposing team flags as possible. Emphasizes territory defense and tracking.

9. Circle Chase Challenge: Players form a large circle. On cue, chase the person to their left while trying to pull their flag before they complete a lap. Teaches reaction speed and acceleration.

10. Hula Hoop Haven: Scatter hula hoops across the gym. Students are safe inside hoops for 3 seconds. Encourages timed movement and spatial judgment.

11. Tug-Free Tag Teams: Divide into 2-on-2 games. One teammate guards the other’s flag while trying to pull opponents'. Builds team dynamics, agility, and decision making.

12. Cone Flag Transfer: Students must transfer flags from one cone to another using only one hand while dodging defenders. Works on balance, fine motor skills, and focus under pressure.

13. Flag Ladder Levels: Students earn an additional flag after completing movement challenges at each “level.” Once they have 3, they are a “boss” defender. Promotes progression, goal setting, and control.

14. Safe Zone Builders: Teams earn safe zones (poly spots or hoops) after completing flag challenges. Great for strategic teamwork and spatial planning.

15. Flag Fill-Up Frenzy: Place flags at a center cone. Players must retrieve one and attach it to their belt each trip—building their collection. Great for cardio endurance and goal-based play.

How do I choose the right flag belt system?

Belts vary by type (belt-release or flag-release) and come with a variety of buckle and flag options. Read our Sport Tip! to decide which options best fit your needs.

How many flag belts do I need for my class or team?

Plan for one belt per student or player, plus a few extras for substitutions or replacements. For PE classes, choose a pack that matches your largest class size to ensure smooth rotations and minimal downtime. We offer belts in sets of 6, 12, 24, or 36.

Are flag football belts adjustable?

Yes. Belts are sold by size, but most belt sizes are also further adjustable to fit a wide range of players. Adjustable belts are ideal for PE settings where equipment is shared across multiple grade levels.
