Activity Ideas Using ClassPlus™ Before & After School Pack

The ClassPlus™ Before & After School Pack offers a wide range of equipment for after school programs! With enough gear to support up to 100 students, this pack is perfect for creating unstructured activities that promote physical activity and fun. Below are activity ideas that utilize the various items from this pack.

1. Four-Corner Kickball: Set up four bases using the cones and have students play a simple kickball game. The rubber playground balls are perfect for kicking and catching, making the game accessible to all ages.

2. Jump Rope Jamboree: Hand out jump ropes to each student and have them compete to see who can perform the most skips in one minute. With enough jump ropes for everyone, this activity keeps the entire class moving while improving footwork and cardiovascular endurance.

3. Hula Hoop Contest: Let students see who can keep a hula hoop spinning the longest. This is a great way to improve balance and coordination while having fun.

4. Football Frenzy: Divide students into small groups and have them practice throwing and catching footballs across the playground. With enough footballs in the pack, each group can stay active, developing manipulative skills and teamwork.

5. Disc Golf Challenge: Set up cones as "holes" and have students aim their discs to land near them. This activity promotes hand-eye coordination and distance judgment in a fun, unstructured way.

6. Two-on-Two Soccer: Students can form small teams and play casual soccer games with the included soccer balls and cones for goals. This promotes teamwork, coordination, and cardiovascular activity.

7. Free-Play Capture the Flag: Use cones and bases to create zones for a capture-the-flag game. Students can form teams and strategize, encouraging problem-solving and teamwork.

8. Football Scrimmage: Students can break into small groups and play casual football scrimmages using the footballs and cones for end zones. The lightweight footballs are easy to throw and catch, making the game accessible for all.

9. Hula Hoop Pathway: Set up hula hoops in a line and have students hop from one to the next, trying not to step outside the hoops. This activity improves balance and coordination while keeping students active.

10. Free-Throw Practice: Students can take turns practicing free throws or setting up their own mini basketball games. The pack’s basketballs are lightweight and easy for young players to shoot.

11. Bounce & Catch Bonanza: Using the activity balls from the pack, students form pairs and practice bouncing and catching with increasing speed. This focuses on hand-eye coordination and reaction time, with enough balls for every student to stay involved.

12. Base Run Bonanza: Use the included bases to set up a mini baseball diamond and have students practice running bases after hitting plastic balls with the bats provided in the pack. This activity enhances hand-eye coordination, running speed, and understanding of game strategy.

13. Soccer Ball Dribble Dash: Set up cones and have students weave in and out while dribbling soccer balls with their feet. The included soccer balls ensure that everyone stays active while working on foot control and agility.

14. Basketball Hot Shot Contest: Organize a shooting competition where students take turns attempting baskets from different spots in the gym. With multiple basketballs, several players can shoot at once, promoting accuracy and teamwork.

15. Ultimate Frisbee Frenzy: Organize a mini ultimate Frisbee game using the discs and cones from the pack. Teams must work together to pass the disc downfield and score, promoting teamwork and agility.
