Custom frame features a neon material that is highly reflective under blacklight, adding even more fun to glow-in-the-dark games. It is also a great and colorful option for everyday indoor use in regular light.

9 Square in the Air combines volleyball and 4-Square, but expands the court to 9 squares and raises it. The elevated frame includes 8 squares surrounding one in the middle, with a player in each square. The player in the middle, also known as the king, serves the ball through the top of the frame toward another square. Each player gets one chance to hit it up and out of his/her square, making it fall into another player's square.

Game play stops/a player is out if:

  • A player hits the ball more than once in a turn
  • The ball hits the ground in a player's square
  • A player hits the ball out of bounds

When a player gets out, they go to the end of the line back at square one to restart the rotation, and all other players rotate to fill that player's spot. The objective is to serve as the king in the center spot for as long as possible!

The frame is made of sport-grade PVC tubing for dependable, long-lasting use indoors or out. Neon colors glow brightly under blacklight. Quickly adjust the height of the frame to 5', 6', or 7'H using a push-pin locking system to accommodate players of various heights and abilities. Rubber feet protect floors when used indoors. Tubes also use push pins to securely attach to metal connectors.

When the game ends, the frame breaks down for compact storage and easy transportation in included carrying bags. Use indoors only to retain blacklight reflective properties. A 25'L x 25'W level playing area is recommended. Set includes frame (18'L x 18'W; 87 lb), 3 neon game balls, and storage bags.
