Steel tubing base features a bungee cord design that speeds up assembly. Next, telescoping uprights twist in one direction to loosen for height adjustment (up to 61"H or lower for other activities), then twist in the opposite direction to tighten. Both designs speed up setup and eliminate the opportunity to lose extra parts. Powder-coated, oval steel tubing lasts for years and a center support enhances the system's stability. Net tension straps on both ends ensure a taught net and are also adjustable. Full banding protects net. Store the entire system in a durable storage bag. System is 20"W x 61"H; 27 lb. Replacement Net is sold separately.

Pickleball Activity Ideas

These pickleball activities are designed to teach fundamental movement skills while keeping students engaged and having fun.

1. Paddle Rally Relay: Teams take turns hitting a pickleball back and forth across the net, but after each hit, the player must run to the end of the line. This improves hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and quick movement.

2. Pickleball Precision Shots: Place targets in different areas of the court, and students try to land their shots on the targets. This activity focuses on accuracy and control, using both forehand and backhand strokes.

3. Dink Duel: Players can only use dink shots during this game, rallying the ball back and forth while keeping it low and close to the net. The goal is to outlast the opponent in a soft, controlled rally, building precision and patience.

4. Pickleball King of the Court: The winner of each point stays on the court while new challengers rotate in. This fast-paced game helps students practice their shot-making under pressure and promotes continuous movement.

5. Cross-Court Chaos: Set up multiple mini-courts and have students hit pickleballs diagonally to their opponents. This drill emphasizes cross-court shots, angles, and spatial awareness while navigating smaller playing spaces.

Badminton Activity Ideas

These badminton activities are great for all levels and focus on developing key skills like hand-eye coordination, agility, and control.

1. Serve Accuracy Challenge: Students take turns serving the shuttlecock, aiming for specific zones on the court marked by cones. This activity helps students develop precise serving skills and control.

2. Drop Shot Dash: Players focus on executing controlled drop shots, where the shuttlecock just clears the net. The goal is to keep their opponent running forward, improving agility and shot placement.

3. Shuttle Speed Swap: Players alternate between soft taps and powerful smashes during rallies, switching techniques on command. This helps students develop control and versatility by responding quickly to different shot types.

4. Net Zone Showdown: Divide the court into front and back zones, with one player restricted to each zone. Players can only hit from their designated area, improving shot placement and court awareness as they strategize to win points.

5. Timed Rally Challenge: Teams of two try to keep the shuttlecock in the air as long as possible within a set time limit. The challenge encourages teamwork, endurance, and control while practicing consistent rally techniques.

Other Uses for Ultranet Elite Portable Net System

1. NitroBall Net Game: Set the net at a low height to play NitroBall, where students must hit a rubber ball so that it bounces on the ground before going over the net. This fast-paced game encourages teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking.

2. Volleyball Practice Net: Use the adjustable net for volleyball practice, allowing students to work on bumping, setting, and serving at heights appropriate for their skill levels. The system’s quick height adjustment is perfect for transitioning between drills.

3. Soccer Tennis Game: Lower the net and have students kick a soccer ball over it in a modified game of soccer tennis. This activity promotes foot-eye coordination, ball control, and teamwork while blending elements of soccer and tennis.

4. Field Goal Kicking Practice: Lower the net and challenge students to kick foam footballs over it, simulating field goal kicks. This helps students improve their aim, kicking strength, and timing while ensuring safety with the sturdy frame.

5. High-Low Frisbee Toss: Adjust the net to different heights, challenging students to throw frisbees over the net or through it at various levels. This game encourages accuracy, control, and quick adaptation as students adjust their throws to the changing net height.
