Trait-O Identity Bingo

Instead of looking for numbers, students need to identify physical, personal, and cultural traits and locate them on their card. They can start by recognizing their own unique traits such as hair or eye color, interests, family structure, and favorite foods. Teachers can then launch into an active game of TRAIT-O by calling out attributes to focus on identity recognition. Students locate the trait, perform an exercise, and cross off the indicated square on their card. The first to mark 5 squares in a row, wins! Students can also interact with their peers during a TRAIT-O icebreaker round and find others with similar characteristics.
Traits are placed randomly on the cards. Rainbow colors make it easy to set up small groups to compare characteristics. A teacher key card displays all trait options for immediate reference. Wipe the laminated cards between games to clean and reuse them. Set includes 24 cards (8-1/2" sq) with a custom storage box and 24 dry-erase markers.
