Associating colors and numbers in this simple game teaches students how to match!
UNO™ is a card game that’s easy to pick up and impossible to put down! All it takes to win is a little coordination between colors (red, green, blue, and yellow) and numbers. Students will correlate colors and numbers as they try to be the first to get rid of their cards.
How to Play
Deal each player 10 cards and set the remaining cards aside as a draw pile. Flip over a single card to start the play pile. The first player plays a card of either the same color or number as the top card of the play pile. If a player cannot play either the same color or number, they draw a card from the draw pile. When a player gets down to one card he/she yells “Uno”. The first player to get rid of all of their cards is the winner.
In addition to cards labelled number 1-9, there are also a series of action cards to make the game more interesting. These include cards to skip players, draw 2 or 4 additional cards, and wild cards.
Deck includes 4 suits of 25 cards each, plus the eight Wild cards, plus instructions and scoring rules. For ages 7 and up.
