The ultimate game of strategy, Risk is about investing your resources, forming a plan of attack, and timing your stroke of genius! Players need to constantly survey the board for areas of weakness, while anticipating the moves of other players. Students will love the strategy that goes into world domination!
How to Play
Players aim to conquer their enemies' territories by building an army, moving their troops in, and engaging in battle. Depending on the roll of the dice, a player will either defeat the enemy or be defeated. Players receive reinforcements after each turn that grow as new territories are conquered. The player who conquers every territory on the board is the winner!
The second half of the game is all about diplomacy. Players can forge alliances with friends, pledge their support to a campaign, or enter into secret treaties with other players. Treaties can also be broken and betrayals made—do whatever gets you one step closer to total domination. Just make sure you're not crossing the wrong ally!
Set includes game board, armies (with 40 Infantry, 12 Cavalry, and 8 Artillery), deck of 56 Risk cards, 1 card box, 5 dice, 5 cardboard war crates, and game guide. For 2-6 players, ages 10 and up.
