Q. What is Lü?
▾
Lü is an interactive audiovisual system that uses high-definition projection, motion sensors, lights, and sound to turn any wall into a giant, touch-responsive canvas. By blending physical activity with curriculum-based apps (covering math, ELA, geography, science, and more), Lü transforms ordinary spaces into immersive, playful learning environments.
Q. What options are available for funding a Lü unit?
▾
Bringing Lü to your school is more achievable than you think. Lü will guide schools and institutions toward a wide range of funding opportunities, from federal and state grants (including Title I, Title IV, RUS DLT - Rural Utilities Service & Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grants - Federal, and ELOP) to community fundraising and crowdfunding initiatives. To discuss available funding opportunities in your area, email
info@play-lu.com.
Q. Do I need a subscription to use Lü?
▾
No subscription is required. Lü is a one-time hardware purchase that comes with 30+ apps right out of the box. For those who want even more, the optional Lü+ subscription offers 15 additional apps, 200+ ready-to-use activity plans, and regular content updates.
Q. Will Lü fit my space?
▾
To install a Üno configuration, Lü recommends a clear wall surface of at least 14 ft x 8 ft (4.2 m x 2.5 m), with a minimum ceiling height of 10 ft (3 m) and a ceiling load capacity of 99 lb (45 kg).
For optimal use, a wall surface of 19 ft x 12 ft (5.8 m x 3.7 m) is ideal, along with a ceiling height of 20 ft (6 m) and a ceiling load capacity of 175 lb (80 kg).
The Möve configuration requires a minimum clear wall space of 12 ft x 6.75 ft (3.7 m x 2 m), a 12 ft x 12 ft (3.7 m x 3.7 m) play area, and a ceiling height of at least 8 ft (2.4 m).
A site survey will be conducted to confirm the fit before you commit.
Q. What if I want to use Lü in multiple locations?
▾
Since Möve is a portable solution, it is a great option for organizations looking for more flexibility. Setup is quick and convenient, taking just five minutes to get up and running and two to pack away.
Q. What age group is Lü for?
▾
Lü’s apps are primarily designed for youth aged 5 to 12 and feature adjustable difficulty levels to suit different ages and abilities.
Q. What subjects and skills are covered?
▾
Lü covers a wide range of subjects and physical skills. In addition to physical education activities—like aiming, accuracy, ball control, and drills for basketball, volleyball, and football—Lü includes curriculum-aligned content in math, ELA, science, geography, and languages. Many apps are also customizable, allowing educators to upload their own word lists, math sets, and visuals to tailor each experience to their students’ needs.
Q. How many kids can Lü engage at a time?
▾
Lü can actively engage between 25 and 50+ children at once, depending on the app and the activity. Lü will also provide over 200 ready-to-use activity plans to help educators organize and manage sessions in a way that keeps every student moving, learning, and having fun.
Q. Why does Lü use wall projection instead of floor projection?
▾
A wall projection ensures the most accurate and uninterrupted movement tracking. This design also prevents shadows and occlusion issues that often occur when users move through floor projections. That said, Lü still creates a full-room experience with floor lighting effects—without the frustrations caused by shadow interference.
Q. Can Lü be used beyond physical education?
▾
Absolutely. Many schools and community centers use Lü as an interactive audiovisual solution for assemblies, showcases, family nights, after-school programs, and special events.
Q. Do you offer demos or pilots?
▾
Lü can arrange on-site demonstrations (where available), virtual walk-throughs, or reference calls with nearby Lü users. A local reseller can confirm the options available in your area.
Q. I need help pitching Lü to my administrators.
▾
Lü will help you present Lü to your administration. Send an email to
info@play-lu.com, and Lü will make sure you have everything you need to pitch the idea with confidence.
