Jumbo-sized jump rope stick gets multiple students jumping to improve fitness.

The 40"L baton with a 96"L rope is large enough to accommodate several jumpers at once. The new, XL size provides more space than the original Twirl ‘n' Jump, allowing for more students to join in on this fun jump rope alternative! While traditional jump ropes rotate vertically, the Twirl ‘n' Jump spins around on a horizontal plane, challenging users to get accustomed to a new pattern of jumping. Add this oversized jump rope to team activities and relay races to kick up the fun.

The attached ball adds a visual and auditory aid to help students jump at the right moment. The tough ABS plastic baton, polyethylene rope, and polyethylene ball make these ideal for use on any surface.

Twirl into Fitness Fun: Boosting Fundamental Movement Skills with the Twirl-N-Jump XL!

The Twirl-N-Jump XL is an oversized jump and coordination toy designed for up to 6 users at once, offering a dynamic and engaging way to develop key fundamental movement skills. Its unique feature is its extended 48"L arms, which are longer than traditional models, allowing more students to participate simultaneously and promoting cooperative play and timing. Students will jump, dodge, coordinate, and collaborate as they interact with this rotating jump game, helping build locomotor, non-locomotor, and body control skills in a high-energy setting. Below are 15 original activity ideas tailored to maximize the educational and physical benefits of the Twirl-N-Jump XL in any PE class setting.

1. Jump Jet Jamboree: Students form groups of 4-6, and take turns jumping over the rotating arms while others cheer and count successful jumps. Focus on jumping and landing with control.

2. Partner Popcorn: Pairs of students face each other across the device and mirror each other’s jumps, adding coordination and timing challenges.

3. Spin & Shout: Students call out body parts as they jump ("elbow!", "knee!") and the next jumper must touch that body part mid-jump. Integrates body awareness and balance.

4. Rhythm Riders: Play music and students must jump only when the beat hits. Reinforces timing, rhythm, and auditory cues.

5. Hopstacle Hustle: Students must hop on one foot while navigating the spinning arms. Switch feet after each successful round.

6. Core Commandos: Students in plank position must sway and twist to avoid the rotating arm while staying balanced. Focuses on core stability and twisting.

7. Jumping Jellyfish Challenge: Assign a movement to perform mid-air (like a star jump or twist) after each jump. Teaches multi-movement coordination.

8. Red Light, Jump Right: Teacher calls “Red Light” to stop jumping and balance, “Green Light” to resume. Practices stopping and body control.

9. Skater Shuffle: Add a side-to-side movement between jumps to mimic skating. Reinforces sliding and lateral movement.

10. Shadow Jump Showoff: Two students jump simultaneously on opposite sides and try to mirror each other exactly. Builds coordination and partner timing.

11. Ninja Jump Numbers: Call out numbers, and students must jump that many times consecutively without missing. Great for math integration and counting in motion.

12. Twist & Tag Tunnel: After jumping, students twist their torso and high-five the person next to them before the next jump. Works twisting and reaction time.

13. Pop-Up Passers: Students start in a squat and must jump up when the arm comes around, simulating a “pop-up” motion. Works explosive power and timing.

14. Quick Switch Quads: After each jump, students quickly switch spots with another outside the circle before the arm comes back. Encourages speed, agility, and spatial awareness.

15. XL Elimination Station: All students jump continuously until someone touches the arm — then they perform a fitness challenge (e.g., 5 push-ups) and rejoin. Builds endurance and focus.
