Students won’t have to apologize for having fun!

As students work to move all of their pawns across the board, they'll have to use a range of critical thinking and cognitive skills. It's a great game to teach students math skills, patience, and social skills within the classroom.

How to Play

The object of this game is to get all of your pawns around the board and back home. However, other players can jump over you or even bump you all the way back to the beginning, where you'll have to try again.

To start, players select 4 pawns of the same color and place them on the board in the start area of the same color. Shuffle and place cards face down in the middle of the board to form the draw pile. Player 1 draws a card to start. Only a 1 or 2 card allows a pawn to move from the start to the actual playing field. If Player 1 does not draw one of these cards, the next player has a chance to try. When a pawn leaves the play area, the player draws a card to determine the number of spaces for the next move.

Pawns can jump over other pawns en-route to their final landing space. If the final landing area is occupied by a pawn bump that pawn back to the start area and occupy the space. The player who gets all of his/her pawns around the board and back home is the winner!

Set includes game board, 12 pawns, 44 cards, 2 power-up tokens, and instructions. For 2 to 4 players, ages 6 and up.
